The Mentoring Movement
The discipline, perseverance and commitment they developed to change the culture in their families could only be evidence of God working in their lives. God brought mentors, coaches and teachers along the way to encourage them in their journey to do things that have never been done before in their families. In 2017, Kevin and Brenita initiated motivational conferences to serve as a fundraiser to support a mentor program called TRSS Mentoring. This is their way of giving back and going back to help others succeed through this mentor program. The proceeds from each conference support the community service projects and scholarships for graduating seniors. Coming from broken homes and experiencing identity issues because they were both raised by single mothers, Kevin and Brenita Jackson had no idea that God would birth a ministry out of this pain. Their journey towards purpose and identity in the Kingdom of God, lead them to realizing that there were others stuck in the same place they once were.
Charity Conference
The Jackson's have hosted 3 charity conferences to raise funds for their mentoring program. The first conference was March 25, 2017 for women called Revamped for God's Glory. The second was titled Empowered Men which welcomed men from all over to unite and be empowered in their mind, body and spirit on October 27, 2017.
The most recent conference was open to both men and women called The Perfect Blend March 23-24, 2018. Attendees enjoyed practical tools to discover their purpose, build a winning circle, gain financial freedom, as well as be encouraged in their mental and physical health.
